PONCHATOULA, La. (WVUE) - The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating the discovery of human remains found Friday in a wooded area off the 40000 block of River Road.

Deputies say the identity of the individual and the manner of death remain unknown at this time.
