SALT LAKE CITY – The Mr. Mac Utah County High School Player of the Week is awarded each week to the top prep football players in Utah County. It honors athletes for their performances on the gridiron and exceptional play. Our winner this week was Westlake High School defensive back Finn Mouer.

Utah County Player of the Week – Finn Mouer (Westlake)

The Westlake Thunder made a trip to California last week to take on South San Francisco High School in a cross-state clash. The Thunder raced out of the gates in the contest, scoring 38 points unanswered with their high flying offense and stingy defense. Mouer got in on the action as he capped their first-half scoring binge with a 48-yard pick-six.
