HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Downtown Huntsville just got a lot more colorful.

Friday evening, Arts Huntsville, the Junior League of Huntsville, & Downtown Huntsville Inc. welcomed the community for the unveiling of Huntsville's newest mural.

The mural, titled "Together We Rise", is on the Jefferson Street side of the Clinton Avenue Parking deck.

Huntsville artist Ann Moeller told News 19, "It's definitely my biggest piece yet!"

It goes 60 feet into the air and is now the second three-story mural downtown.

"I hope it inspires a lot of joy," Moeller said.

The piece was commissioned by the Junior League of Huntsville to commemorate its 75th anniversary. Moeller said the mural tells the story of the Junior League's many years of community service in Huntsville.
