BLOOMINGTON — Indiana football running back Lee Beebe Jr. suffered an apparent non-contact lower body injury in the third quarter of a 73-0 win over Indiana State on Friday night.

Beebe Jr. fell to the ground near IU's sideline on a 9-yard carry with 9:18 to go in the third quarter with the No. 19 Hoosiers (3-0) leading 52-0.

Indiana coach Curt Cignetti didn't have an update on Beebe's status after the game.

"We'll find out more Sunday or Monday, I guess," Cignetti said during his post-game press conference.

Beebe is part of running back rotation that also includes Maryland transfer Roman Hemby and sixth-year senior Kaelon Black. He ran the ball five times for 46 yards against the Sycamores and added one reception for a 7-yard gaine.
