DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - The ye’old honored tradition of good beer and great company is back.

Oktoberfest has returned to Bayfront Park, with plenty of brews to keep you going all weekend long.

At the largest Oktoberfest north of the Twin Cities, organizers say you can expect to see Bavarian food, a variety of fun games and activities, as well as an extended list of live music throughout the weekend.

Festivities began Friday night as attendees kicked the fest off.

“We want you to do everything! So we want you to play the games, we want you to sing songs, learn some German dancing, obviously, partake in some German beverages as well as food, but there is something for everyone,” said Event Producer Lindsay Kern.
