HOT SPRINGS, Ark. — A boating collision on Lake Hamilton over Labor Day weekend claimed the life of 44-year-old Edis Miller, a Hot Springs resident remembered for her energy, laughter, and love of the water.
Miller was one of three people killed late Sunday night when two boats collided.
While investigators continue to look into what caused the crash, Miller’s daughter Arianna is focusing on the last moments she spent with her mom — and the memories she will carry forward.
“So the day of I was just around town and I had this instinct to go and just talk to my mom,” Arianna said. “She was taking a nap because she had just worked that morning, but she gave me a hug and we just talked a little bit and then I left. I went out on the lake that day with some of my friends.”
