ST. CLAIRSVILLE – St. Clairsville waited four weeks to play at home and it treated the packed house at Red Devil Stadium to some thrilling action.
Tied at 14 in the fourth quarter, the Red Devils (3-1) scored the final 10 points to put away the pesky Cadets (1-2) by a 24-14 count.
Senior Ollie Muhly had quite a night as he ran for more than 100 yards and a touchdown, returned a punt 80 yards and also picked off a pass to seal the hard-earned victory.
The loss was heartbreaking for Linsly which played tougher than most expected.
With the triumph, St. Clairsville now leads the all-time series 13-12-2. The Red Devils remain at home as East Liverpool visits on Friday.
