WHEELING – Just a day after announcing its headquarters would be located in Wheeling, the Continental Football League (CoFL) has said that the Ohio Valley Ironmen would be the first franchise.
“This is more than just an announcement — it’s a rebirth,” CoFL Commissioner Mike Kelly said in a press release. “The Ironmen represent everything this league stands for: grit, tradition, and community pride. The Ohio Valley was there during the heyday of the Continental Football League, and now it will help lead us into a new era of opportunity for players, coaches, and fans.”
