Clark County sheriff’s deputies have arrested the man suspected of stabbing his mother Thursday at a home in Woodland.

Miguel Bravo, 30, of Woodland was arrested Thursday evening on suspicion of first-degree assault domestic violence in Marion County, Oregon, according to a 12:40 p.m. notice from the sheriff's office. Bravo is waiting for extradition to Clark County.

Deputies and other law enforcement and first responders responded to a call at 5 a.m. from a woman stating that her adult son had stabbed her. The woman said she locked herself in her bedroom, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.

The son was gone when law enforcement arrived at the residence in Oaks Mobile & RV Park, 38308 N.W. Lakeshore Drive, Woodland, the news release states.
