BUTTE — A 30-minute lightning delay and the memory of Kalispell Glacier’s last visit to Naranche Stadium did nothing to deter the Wolfpack on Friday night.
If anything, it helped power them through their dominant 42-0 win against Butte for their first conference victory of the season.
“They were so determined all week to kind of erase the ghost of Naranche, just to play solid, good football for four quarters,” Glacier head coach Grady Bennett said.
The last time the Wolfpack were in Butte, they were up by 21 and holding the Bulldogs scoreless going into the fourth quarter.
