Week 3 is coming to Columbia a little bit quicker than previously planned.

Missouri football and Louisiana will face off Saturday on Faurot Field for a Week 3 nonconference game, with the kickoff time for the game now three hours earlier than originally scheduled.

The matchup between the Tigers and the Ragin’ Cajuns will now kick off at noon. The start time for the game was moved up because of forecasted extreme heat on Saturday in mid-Missouri.

Mizzou (2-0) beat Kansas 42-31 in the Border War last Saturday, knocking off its archrival in the first matchup between the two teams in 14 years. The Tigers defeated Central Arkansas 61-6 in their season-opener.

Louisiana (1-1) took an upset loss to Rice at home in Week 1 before knocking off McNeese State last Saturday. The Ragin’ Cajuns
