The supply of cattle at the Central Tablelands Livestock Exchange, Carcoar, store cattle sale last Friday was back when compared to last month's sale.

Agents reported a total of 2460 head were offered, and the quality of the cattle was an improvement on the August sale.

Most categories were also dearer, driven by demand from a small group of buyers on the rail determined to fill orders
