Opposition Leader Sussan Ley has suffered another poll setback as the Coalition slides backwards amid the fallout from the Jacinta Nampijinpa Price saga.

The latest RedBridge poll for the AFR of over 5,000 Australians showed the Coalition’s primary vote has dropped to 30 per cent.

The poor result marked a two-percentage point decline compared to the May 3 election and another point down from the previous June poll.

Meanwhile, the Australian Greens maintained 11 per cent of the primary vote, equal with One Nation.

On a two-party-preferred basis, Labor led the Coalition 53.5 per cent to 46.5 per cent.

The poll came as Ms Ley navigated fallout related to Senator Price , who refused to apologise for comments expressing “concerns” about Indian migration to Australia.
