(STORYFUL) - Londoners gathered in Whitehall on Friday, September 12, to pay tribute to late activist Charlie Kirk, who was shot and killed at a speaking event in Utah two days prior.

Footage posted by X user @iNeo_G shows a crowd filling the capital’s streets near the Downing Street and Parliament Street intersection.

Later that evening, people were heard singing, and seen dropping off flowers and lighting up candles at a memorial for Kirk.

“How is this real,” the source wrote to X. “It’s still hard to believe it happened.”
