Connor Conneely could only watch with his arm in a sling last season as his Summit teammates lost at home to Wilsonville.
Conneely eventually missed the Storm’s first four games recovering from an elbow injury, and he’s been making up for lost time ever since.
The senior had one of the biggest games of his career Friday night in the rematch at Wilsonville’s Randall Stadium, catching 11 passes for 171 yards and three touchdowns and leading a stout defensive effort in a 28-20 victory over the two-time defending Class 5A state champions.
