Shifting sands has been reported at a Scots beach as members of the public have been urged to stay away. ‌

Aberdeen City Council has warned of "severe erosion" at South Donmouth Beach at the Donmouth Local Nature Reserve. ‌

People have been asked to avoid the beauty spot as a matter of safety. ‌

A statement from Aberdeen City Council reads: "People are asked to avoid the north and south shore of the Donmouth Local Nature Reserve as several areas are experiencing severe erosion.
