CAMAS — When it comes to 3A Washington state high school football, the top teams year in and year out are usually O’Dea, Bellevue and Eastside Catholic. This year, pundits believe Mt. Tahoma could be in that class and the T-Birds showed why Friday night with a resounding 49-22 non-league win over Camas at Doc Harris Stadium.

Mt. Tahoma (2-0) scored the game’s first 35 points with two touchdowns on the ground, one through the air, and one via an 84-yard punt return from sophomore Quentin Hodge. The T-Bird defense also flexed its muscle in keeping the Papermakers out of the end zone until midway through the third quarter.
