CLEVELAND, Ohio - A Cuyahoga County grand jury has indicted a Strongsville man who is accused of trying to kidnap a teenager from a bus stop last week.

Dominic Sacco, 27, faces charges of abduction and attempted abduction following the Sept. 5 incident involving a 15-year-old girl. The indictment was filed Thursday.

“Dominic Sacco is a predator,” Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael O’Malley said in a statement. “Thankfully, this victim courageously fought back and that may have saved her life.”

The teen was waiting at her school bus stop near Fair Road and Village Green Drive at about 6:30 a.m. when Sacco grabbed her backpack and began pulling her, according to prosecutors.
