The Atlanta Braves got off to a slow start in this weekend’s series with the Houston Astros, beginning the set with an 11-3 loss. Hurston Waldrep got the ball and threw an unimpressive 4.2 innings, where he surrendered eight runs on eight hits. He recorded two walks and four strikeouts.

Not only did Waldrep have a disappointing outing, but the Atlanta offense was also subpar. The Astros held the Braves scoreless until the sixth and by the time the night was done, the Atlanta lineup mustered just five hits.

The Braves have the chance to even the series tonight at 7:15 ET behind Bryce Elder.
