My Girl, which hit cinemas in 1992, is a coming-of-age drama which follows the friendship between Vada and Thomas J. Currently available to stream on ITVX at no cost, the film, which has earned the reputation as the 'most heartbreaking' movie, has reduced audiences to tears for decades.

Vada is an 11 year old lass residing in Pennsylvania who suffers from hypochondria and becomes fixated with mortality. She begins forming a bond with an unpopular lad called Thomas J who has allergies to "everything".
