A constant flow of office furniture, appliances, and other odds and ends cycles through University of Oregon's new surplus store.

Sarah Stoeckl, associate director at UO's Office of Sustainability , said it started when her team was looking for ways to reduce the waste of excess items at UO.

Previously, the Office of Sustainability had hosted monthly, then weekly public sales out of the Romania Warehouse on the east end of campus.
