Police have launched an urgent witness appeal after a motorcyclist died in a collision.

The rider, aged in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene on the A451 Minster Road, Stourport-on-Severn, on Friday night, September 12.

West Mercia Police urged anyone who saw the incident -involving a Yamaha XJR1300 - to come forward.

In an appeal launched today, Saturday, September 13, West Mercia Police said: "We are appealing for witnesses following a collision involving a Yamaha XJR1300 motorbike on the A451 Minster Road heading away from Stourport last night.
