NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The New Orleans Saints and Gov. Jeff Landry’s administration are close to finalizing a long-term lease of the Caesars Superdome that would keep the franchise in New Orleans for the next 10-30 years, according to FOX 8 Saints analyst Jeff Duncan of Nola.com- The Times-Picayune.

The deal, which three people familiar with the negotiations said could be announced as soon as next week, follows more than a year of difficult and contentious talks between the Saints and the Louisiana Stadium and Exposition District.
The Exposition District is the board that oversees the state-owned Superdome.
