CLAYTON, Okla. (KNWA/KFTA) — The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says it is searching for a man described as a "person of interest" in his parents' murder at a home in southeast Oklahoma.

OSBI said in a social media post that the Pushmataha County Sheriff's Office requested assistance from the department to investigate a double homicide on Sept. 11.

Deputies responded to a welfare check at a residence on State Highway 43 in Clayton. Once deputies arrived, they found the bodies of an elderly man and woman in the home.

Officials determined the two suffered injuries consistent with homicide.

OSBI said that based on evidence and information investigators gathered, the victims' son, identified as Jeffery Baker, 35, is considered a "person of interest" in the two deaths. • Jeffery B
