PORTAGE, MI — A viral video has surfaced on social media showing employees at an Office Depot store in Portage refusing to print posters for a vigil held in honor of slain conservative influencer Charlie Kirk.

One employee is no longer working for the store following the incident, Office Depot announced.

The incident occurred Friday, Sept. 12, at the Office Depot at 6272 S. Westnedge Ave. in Portage.

In a video posted on X by Portage attorney Matthew DePerno, a customer asked about an order they had placed earlier in the day.

An employee at the store said the posters were “propaganda” as heard in the video.

“It’s propaganda. I’m sorry. We don’t print that here,” the employee said.

The employee also explained the reason was that Kirk is “a political figure.”
