When notorious serial killer Henry Lee Lucas was captured, he started blabbing.

And he never really stopped.

Following Lucas’s 1983 arrest in Texas for unlawful possession of a firearm, the one-eyed drifter told Williamson County Sheriff Jim Boutwell and members of the Texas Rangers that he killed two women: a young woman believed to be his girlfriend and his elderly landlord.

The floodgates were now open.

By the time he was done, Lucas had confessed to hundreds of murders, cataloguing a grim tally of decades of mayhem. Lucas and his horror-movie-ready partner in depravity, Ottis Toole, did do a lot of killing — just not ALL of them.

But like John Wayne Gacy, the Green River Killer and other monsters, the door has never really been shut on Lucas.
