The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County rose three-tenths of a cent Saturday to $4.557, its highest amount since June 4.

The average price has risen eight consecutive days, increasing 7.8 cents, including eight-tenths of a cent Friday, according to figures from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. The average price is 6.4 cents more than one week ago, 24.8 cents more than one month ago and 6.5 cents more than one year ago. It has dropped $1.816 since rising to a record $6.373 on Oct. 5, 2022.
