A 54-year-old man is accused of dealing drugs out of his Eglinton West barber shop.
Toronto Police say officers from 13 Division Major Crime Unit conducted an investigation dubbed Project Fade in relation to alleged drug activity in the area of Eglinton Ave. W. and Oakwood Ave – east of Dufferin St.
“It is alleged that the suspect was trafficking in drugs through his place of business,” Const. Laurie McCann said in a statement released Saturday.
After a lengthy investigation, she said officers executed a search warrant at the business on Tuesday.
The search allegedly led to the seizure of 510 grams of fentanyl, 213.15 grams of cocaine, 45.7 grams of crack cocaine, 1,033.9 grams of marijuana, 659.12 grams of hash, and undisclosed quantities of stolen liquor and stolen goods.
