Instead, Alabama cruised.
The Crimson Tide scored five touchdowns on five consecutive drives to overwhelm Wisconsin 38-17 on Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson completed 24 of 29 passes for 382 yards and four touchdowns. Ryan Williams led all receivers with five catches for 165 yards and two touchdowns for the Crimson Tide (2-1).
