Ty Simpson, as he walking off the field after Alabama’s 38-14 win over Wisconsin on Saturday, was asked about his performance in the win.
“I thought I played pretty good,” the Alabama quarterback told ABC. “Credit to the guys.”
Simpson finished 24 of 29 for 382 yards and four touchdowns. He added 25 rushing yards on six rushes, including an athletic 19-yard run.
“The O-line did a nice job,” he said. “Running backs ran hard. Tight ends, wide receivers proud of those guys. We had a great week of practice, and it showed in the game. I can’t thank those guys enough.”
Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer was pleased with his quarterback’s performance.
