Three Sarnia residents arrested and charged last week with trafficking following a five-month probe that led to a $127,000 drug bust are all out on bail.
The Sarnia police major case action team launched an investigation earlier this year codenamed, “Purple Rhino.” Early Tuesday morning, the squad, along with the emergency response team and canine unit, raided three addresses: one on Christina Street North, another on Confederation Street, and a third on Michener Road.

During the raid, officers seized nearly 735 grams of cocaine and more than 536 grams of cannabis.
“The street value of the seized drugs is $93,440,” police said.
Officers also discovered about $33,500 in cash. Three people were arrested.
