LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A vehicle with human remains was discovered near a boat ramp in Morganfield, KY.
Kentucky State Police received a call around 10 a.m. Friday Sept. 12, from a scuba diver who had found a submerged vehicle in the Ohio River. Upon recovery, human remains were discovered.
As of this moment, the identity of who the remains belong to has not been confirmed. However, investigators believe the discovery is possibly connected to a Union County man who was reported missing in 2006.
Investigators are still processing the vehicle and the remains, which will be sent to the Kentucky State Medical Examiner's Office for identification and analysis.
KSP will continue the investigation with help from local authorities.
