AUBURN, Ala. ( WSFA ) - In their second home game, the Auburn Tigers looked to get another win under their belt before heading into their first SEC matchup of the season.

Despite a fiery second-half offense from the South Alabama Jaguars, the Tigers held off the determined Sun Belt team and came out ahead 31-15, extending their season record to 3-0.

First Half

The Tigers opened up with a 32-yard touchdown pass by Jackson Arnold, putting them ahead to an early 7-0 lead on their opening drive.

The Jaguars answered with a field goal after being stopped just short of Auburn’s endzone, putting them on the board, (7-3).

Auburn took a 14-3 lead with a touchdown run by Jackson Arnold in the opening minutes of the second quarter.
