GEORGETOWN, Ky. (FOX 56) — The Scott County Coroner's Office, along with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Georgetown Police Department, is investigating a deadly industrial accident at International Crankshaft.

Staff with the coroner's office wrote on Facebook around 8 a.m. on Saturday that a contractor died while working on machine maintenance at the facility.

The contractor's identity has yet to be released as the family is still being notified, officials said.

FOX 56 News has reached out to International Crankshaft Inc. for more information, and has yet to hear back.
