It was a heck of an afternoon for the Michigan Wolverines against Central Michigan, winning 63-3. Michigan’s offense had itself a day, including quarterback Bryce Underwood.

Underwood was 16-of-25 for 235 yards with one passing touchdown, one interception, as well as 114 rushing yards and two rushing scores.

Underwood connected on short, intermediate, and deep throws and he did so while throwing in the pocket and on the run. Underwood’s running abilities were equally impressive as his passing prowess. Not only is Underwood fast, he’s shifty, and he has power to his running at 6-foot-4 and 230 pounds.

After the win, interim Michigan head coach Biff Poggi assessed Underwood’s performance by comparing him to a superhero known for defending Gotham City.
