Sure, Ryan Williams showed off his speed during his touchdown to open the third quarter. But Kadyn Proctor shoved a man, making him sit down on the grass.
The Wisconsin defender fell back almost five yards from the point where Alabama’s left tackle shivered him. As a result, it opened up the field for Williams to sprint to the end zone for the 75-yard score.
“That’s exactly what made me hit the gas,” Williams said. “Once I caught the ball, it’s a little muggy, a little cloudy, I see Kadyn clear it out.”
