HOUSTON – Haynes King and Conner Weigman were teammates at Texas A&M in 2022 and both spent three seasons with the Aggies before moving on.

Aside from their time in College Station, Texas, not working out as hoped, the two quarterbacks now have something else in common: Both torched the Colorado defense with their new teams.

On Friday night, Weigman threw for 222 yards and ran for a career-high 83 yards and two scores in leading Houston a 36-20 thumping of Colorado at TDECU Stadium.

It was the latest rough outing for a CU defense that is struggling, to put it kindly.
