DeWitt, N.Y. — After each syracuse.com high school football Game of the Week, one player will be selected who stood out among the bunch.

This week’s matchup is a rematch of last year’s Class AA state final between Christian Brothers Academy Syracuse and CBA Albany.

This week’s winner was CBA Syracuse cornerback Adrian Weather . The senior made several highlight plays defensively, including a one-handed interception of all-state quarterback Archie Jones. He also recorded one sack and multiple tackles in addition to a solid punt return. Weather narrowly beat out linebacker Jhadon Gary and quarterback Gradyn Dixon to be named the first ever syracuse.com Game of the Week MVP.
