COLUMBIA, Mo. (KLFY)– Ahmad Hardy rushed for a career-high 250 yards and scored three touchdowns while No. 25-ranked Missouri scored on its first four possessions of the game and defeated Louisiana, 52-10, before a sellout crowd of 57,321 Saturday afternoon at Faurot Field at Memorial Stadium.
Beau Pribula completed 15 of 22 passes for 172 yards and accounted for three TDs as Missouri (3-0) recorded 606 yards of total offense.
Louisiana (1-2) averted a shutout in the second quarter when Cameron Whitfield picked off Pribula, leading to Tony Sterner’s 34-yard field goal with 6:22 remaining.
After Hardy scored on a 71-yard run to give Missouri a 35-3 lead, the Ragin’ Cajuns quickly answered with Zylan Perry ran up the middle untouched for a career-long, 84-yard touchdown.
