Coach Brian Kelly didn't slam a fist into a table. But he did want everyone to know that he wasn't pleased with the way LSU played last week in its win over Louisiana Tech.

Now the No. 3 Tigers (2-0) are hoping to play with more polish, especially on offense, on Saturday in their SEC opener — a home game against a reeling Florida team.

Last week, the Gators (1-1) suffered a loss at home to No. 18 South Florida.

They certainly don't want to drop two straight, especially because their schedule this season is particularly unforgiving. LSU is one of eight ranked opponents left on the docket, and all of them are slotted inside the top 16 of the latest AP Poll.
