HARPER, Texas — Deputies in Gillespie County arrested two students after what they're calling "a viable threat" at Harper High School.
Officials said the school district called law enforcement about the potential threat on Wednesday.
After an investigation, deputies arrested a male student. He is charged with a third-degree felony and a state jail felony.
The next day, deputies also arrested a second male student. He's facing a state jail felony.
Both are students at Harper High School and are now in custody at juvenile detention centers. Because of their age, their names aren't being released.
KVUE has reached out to Gillespie County to get more information about the specific threat and charges. We have not heard back.
The investigation is ongoing.
