GILLESPIE COUNTY, Texas — The Gillespie County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two students accused of making a threat to Harper High School.

On Wednesday, Sept. 10, Lt. Greg Longenbaugh received a call from the Harper ISD in reference to a potential threat to the high school.

GCSO says an investigation opened up into a male student with the intent of making sure all of the students were safe. That investigation gave authorities enough of a probable cause to issue arrest warrants for the student as they determined there was a viable threat to the campus.

Further investigation led officials to arrest a second male student on Thursday, Sept. 11.

Both students were booked into a juvenile detention center and are facing state felonies.
