VENICE, Fla. (WFLA) — Parent company Air Methods has relocated one of its Bayflite helicopters to Venice Municipal Airport.

Residents of the city of Venice may have noticed a white and green helicopter flying overhead in recent weeks. This means Bayflite 2 will be available to provide faster response times and medical transportation to Venice residents.

The helicopter is staffed with highly qualified pilots and equipped with industry-leading trauma clinicians who can render in-flight medical aid to patients during emergencies.
