After a brief hiatus, Vietfest is back, ready to celebrate Vietnamese culture through traditional games, performances, and plenty of delicious street food. Set for Sunday, September 21, from 10am to 5pm at the University of Adelaide’s Barr Smith Lawns, the festival has called upon the Vietnamese community to bring a “deeply Vietnamese” experience.
This year’s theme, ‘Vietnam in My Eyes’, is “a heartfelt invitation for individuals to share their unique perspectives and emotions about Vietnam,” the organisers said. “It’s an open-ended theme that welcomes diverse interpretations, encourages everyone to express what this beautiful country means to them personally.”
