EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Michigan State football improved to 3-0 with a 41-24 victory over Youngstown State on Saturday afternoon.

Youngstown State made a field goal first to take a 3-0 lead, but MSU answered right back with Rodney Bullard Jr. rushing for his first career touchdown to give Michigan State a 7-3 lead.

On Michigan State’s next drive in the second quarter, Makhi Frazier powered his way in for a one-yard rushing touchdown to make it 14-3.

Armorion Smith had an interception late in the first half, and Michigan State only had a 17-10 lead at halftime.

Michigan State was set up by a nice punt return by Omari Kelly that Brandon Tullis would take into the end zone from four yards out to give Michigan State a 24-10 lead. On MSU’s next drive, Chiles connected with Michael Masu
