MUSTANG, Okla. (KWQC) - A man from Oklahoma is behind bars after the sexual assault of a Louisa County female more than 10 years ago.

According to the Louisa County Sheriff’s Office, on April 25, 2025, they received a report of a sexual assault of a young female in Louisa County.

29-year-old Jonathon Ruth was arrested at his home September 2, 2025 in Mustang, Oklahoma by the Mustang Police Department after a five-month investigation.

Ruth was transported to the Louisa County Sheriff’s Office September 9, 2025 where he faces charges of second-degree sex abuse, two counts of lascivious acts with a child and indecent contact with a child.

He is being held on a $50,000 bond.

Information regarding the victim is not being released at this time.
