Ivadell Burcham

Obert, Neb.

Ivadell Burcham, age 88 of Obert, Neb., went home with Jesus on Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2025, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.

Funeral Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 15, 2025, at Faith Lutheran Church in Maskell, Neb., with the Rev. Chad Beckius officiating. Burial will be at the Maskell Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, at church. Visitation will continue on Monday, at church, one hour prior to services.

Ivadell was born Feb. 5, 1937, in Maskell, to the late Donald and Sylvia (Gregg) Nelson. She was raised as the oldest of six children as her brother Martin passed before her birth.

Ivadell grew up in the Maskell area, attending country schools before graduating from Maskell High School in 1955. Ivadel
