The Orlando Pride wound up extending their eight-game winless streak in NWSL play on Saturday, settling for a 1-1 home draw against Bay FC.

“Similar story, really, going down one goal, a really pivotal moment in the match,” Orlando coach Seb Hines said. “But the players showed a lot of heart to come back. I never fault their attitude, their desire, their passion.”

Bay FC opened the scoring in the fourth minute of first-half stoppage time. Orlando goalkeeper McKinley Crone lost control of the ball, allowing Caprice Dydasco to tee it up for Rachael Kudanaji to head in.

Crone is a hometown product who played for four years at Edgewater High before her collegiate career. Saturday marked her first league start, and to have it in front of her hometown was a special moment.
