Iowa football head coach Kirk Ferentz stands alone atop the Big Ten Conference record books.

His team's 47-7 win over UMass on Sept. 13 marked the 206th victory at Iowa for the 27-year leader of the Hawkeyes , breaking the tie between him and the legendary Woody Hayes atop the list of most victories at a Big Ten program.

Ferentz's first season as head coach at Iowa was in 1999. His overall record at Iowa is 206-125 (62.2%). That includes a 128-88 record in Big Ten games and a 10-11 mark in bowl games.
