LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - The Kentucky football team (2-1, 0-1 SEC) got back in the win column against Eastern Michigan (0-3) on Saturday with a 48-23 win over the Eagles under the lights of Kroger Field.
In his first start of the season, redshirt freshman quarterback Cutter Boley went 12-21 passing for 240 yards and two touchdowns. He rushed for another 24 yards on five carries.
Senior running back Seth McGowan led the rush attack with 18 carries for 104 yards and three touchdowns.
The Wildcats now enter a bye week, before they travel to No. 11 South Carolina (2-1, 0-1 SEC) on September 27.
